Volunteers with the Playhouse Project were hard at work Thursday, hammering away on playhouses for three area families.

Habitat for Humanity’s Project Playhouse brings together three local businesses and organizations to build and design custom-made playhouses, providing children with a safe place to play.

Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, Dearing Compressor, and Southwoods Health all teamed up to paint and decorate each house.
