At Dearing Compressor and Pump, we pride ourselves as contributing members to the overall benefit of our community. Our involvement in Youngstown includes promoting non-profits and organizations that continually do good in our region, such as the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.
The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley is a non-profit organization that runs multiple outreach programs for schools, families, and residents of our area. One of these programs includes “Care Closets” which operate within the walls of several local schools to provide students with body care items like shampoo, toothpaste, and other items. These closets are huge feats and require volunteers to help make care bags that are delivered to schools consistently throughout the school year.
On November 11th, 2024, our Dearing Compressor and Pump team gathered to assist with packaging these bags. Small volunteer opportunities like this truly mean a lot to non-profit organizations like the United Way, and also represent who we are as a family-owned company.
